C++ compiler error expected unqualified id before token
You have a lot of issues in your code. First, as Ivan points out, you are trying to define a function inside of a function ( ask() inside main() ). Secon you have a goto (why?!) attempting to jump to a label in another function. I doubt your compiler will even allow that, but how would you expect .
